Our founder, Alan Luster, got his start in the fast-paced world of TV news, where every day was a crash course in speed, storytelling, and staying cool under pressure.
Working in news taught him how to take complex stories and shape them into clear, engaging, fast edits. That same discipline now drives how we work with clients today: with a sharp eye, quick turnaround, and the flexibility to adapt when things shift (as they often do in live production environments).
He went on to work with major brands, lead event video teams, and build 5 Side Productions as a company that combines deep technical skill with thoughtful, people-focused storytelling.
This Is How We Do It
Pre-Production
This is the planning stage and includes coordinating anything and everything, from writing and analyzing the script, planning out your video and choosing the right equipment to scouting the perfect location.
Production
The real action begins here and involves careful and precise execution of the pre-production phase, the actual creation of your video and crucial positioning.
Post Production
Combining all the parts together is an art in itself. Here we add music, graphics, color correction and a whole lot more to ‘finish’ your unique video.
